The Henry Wadsworth Longfellow Dining Room (1st Floor of the Main House)

"Listen, my children, and you shall hear of the midnight ride of Paul Revere." Henry Wadsworth Longfellow (1807-1882) penned this first line of The Landlord's Tale; Paul Revere's Ride in 1863. Enjoy a complete Gourmet Breakfast between 8:30 and 9:30 each morning in the cozy elegance of the Longfellow Dining Room. (Breakfast is included in your room rate.) Please be certain to inform Chef Michael of any dietary restrictions or preferences upon check-in.

Your host, Innkeeper Michael S. Cardillo, Jr. is a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America. Since December 1999, Michael has been serving delicious country breakfasts to his guests from around the globe.

 

Each morning, enjoy your breakfast by the welcoming fireplace lit in the winter, or seated next to the bay window filtering the morning sun throughout the year.  Take time to savor Michael's famous Stuffed French Toast, or a delicious omelet with fresh herbs and cheese, pancakes, or perhaps a special treat which Michael's culinary skills decide to create for you that day. All breakfasts include fresh fruits, Boston's Best coffee, herbal and regular teas, and fruit juices.

 

Chef Michael creates an egg dish one day and a bread-type dish the next. The menu changes daily so that you can enjoy a variety of dishes for your breakfast during your stay.

Western Omelet with Vermont Cheddar Cheese, Diced Ham, Colorful Bell Peppers, Onions and Savory Herbs Served with Bakery-style Cinnamon Raisin Toast	Cinnamon Spiced Belgian Waffles Served with Warmed Citrus Maple Syrup and a Side of Fresh Fruit and Breakfast Sausage!
